This year’s theme, “Well-being at PoliMI Campus,” inspired thirteen groups to conduct a user-centered research. They uncovered the diverse needs and challenges faced by the PoliMI campus community. Students spend a lot of time waiting in line in order to buy lunch. PolEat is a smartphone app that allows people to make an informed choice about where to go to buy lunch, based on expected wait times and the proposed menu.

Let’s pass-it together!
To prepare for exams, students often practice on previous exams. Often, though, the available solutions are not complete. Pass-it is a platform that offers comprehensive solutions to past exams and a forum for submitting alternative solutions and discuss them.

Born To Support Students
Administrative information is highly fragmented in the Politecnico’s information system. Poliverse is a copilot-style platform to guide undergraduate students in searching for administrative information made available by Politecnico di Milano’s information systems.
MensaExpress
Mensa Express, is a system to improve the use of Politecnico di Milano’s cafeteria service by optimizing meal purchase and queue management. It consists of a smartphone application, aimed at users attending the canteen, and a web app for staff that allows the entry and management of the day’s menu.

Allenati, Monitora, Condividi
Polimi Active is an app to improve university sports life. It offers features to manage gym reservations, forms and deadlines. In addition it allows workout tracking and social networking to meet new people to workout with and create a community.
